Nestled along the banks of a seasonal river, royal Legend’s ten, far-spaced luxurious chalets offer both privacy and personality as each room is individually decorated. Unwind on your extra-length king or twin bed and enjoy the almost unbroken view of the river through the glass doors on two sides of the chalet. Peer at the riverbed creatures through your large corner windows or your private outdoor shower. Honeymooners receive extra special care and are given the most intimate, secluded chalet available.

Incorporating diversity in your dining experience, evening meals can either be taken on damask linen under thatched roof, out on the raised teak deck or in the boma. You are invited to wonder down a spiral staircase to discover a magical wine cellar holding the best of South Africa’s world-renowned wines. Wake up to the sound of birds welcoming the dawn or relax with a book from the library on your own private deck. The health spa focuses on attending to your personal needs with a range of treatments such as facials, body treatments, reflexology, massages, manicures and pedicures. Unwind in the large Jacuzzi or sauna, or if you are feeling energetic, feel free to invade the gym which is equipped with various weight machines and free weights.
